This is not a Love Song

The works in the exhibition emphasized the moments from the 1960s to today, in which video art and pop music crossed roads. Curated by Javier Panera, the exhibition included significant works in the history of video art and experimental film that are formally and conceptually related to the iconography of pop and rock.

Featuring 28 prominent artists including Nam June Paik, Andy Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Vito Acconci and John Baldessari, the exhibition explored the fields of music and video art in five chapters. A diverse video screening program was presented parallel to the exhibition.
